I am too often surprised when I see a setup like this. 

Why do meeting planners put up with bad decisions from venues? Certainly everyone in this meeting knows they can't see the face of the presenter, the props or award winners brought to stage.

Don't be misled by sales person reporting "everyone loves this layout." Of course they only have limited space to sell and you don't get to see it in action.

Before you check-in: Post a comment on the hotel's Facebook page or send a tweet saying you're looking forward to your stay. A savvy hotel will put you on its radar and may dole out perks or give specialized service.
